Cruise Vacation Protection Plan Plus

Through our trusted partner Trip Mate, we offer a Cruise Vacation protection plan that includes benefits such as trip interruption, trip delay, accident and sickness medical expense (COVID is treated as any other sickness), baggage and personal effects, missed connection and more. Part A: Cancel For Any Reason Waiver (provided by Pleasant Holidays)*:

The travel protection plan includes a non-insurance Cancel For Any Reason Waiver that must be purchased at time of booking, and cannot be purchased with a Future Travel Credit (FTC). Our comprehensive cruise protection plan offers benefits, coverage and assistance services designed to meet travelers’ needs at affordable rates for cruises purchased through Pleasant Holidays should they need to change OR cancel their trip prior to departure.  Please see Part A of the plan document for full details.

What We will do under this Waiver: If you cancel Your Trip for any reason before the scheduled Trip departure, we will waive Our corresponding cancellation penalties and reimburse You in cash or in Pleasant Holidays Future Travel Credits (depending on Your reason for cancellation) for the nonrefundable portion of the Trip Cost up to a maximum of $12,500.

We will also refund any additional fees that You would otherwise incur for changes to Your per person occupancy rate if a person booked with You on Your Trip cancels his/her reservation with Us before the scheduled Trip departure and You do not cancel Your Trip.

On a one-time basis, You have the option to have any supplier change fees refunded, if You make changes to Your Trip. However, the Waiver is voided after the one-time charge coverage is utilized.

Please Note: This Waiver does not cover fees or costs associated with any cruise line promotional airfare offers, any transportation, accommodations, or other travel services that are not arranged by Pleasant Holidays. Any amount payable under this Waiver will be reduced by the amount of any Trip Cancellation amounts paid or payable under any other travel insurance or travel protection plan providing Trip Cancellation benefits.

How You are reimbursed under this Waiver:

If You cancel Your Trip before the scheduled Trip departure for any of the Specified Reasons, listed under Part A of the plan documents ,which first occur after Your purchase of this Plan and before Your scheduled Trip departure, We will reimburse You in cash.

If you cancel Your Trip before the scheduled Trip departure for any other reason, We will reimburse You with a Pleasant Holidays Future Travel Credit that can be used for future transportation, accommodations, and other travel services arranged by Us. The limitations on that Pleasant Holidays Future Travel Credit are explained below.

This Cancellation Waiver Benefit does not cover no-shows or occupancy upgrade charges. Pleasant Holidays requires notice of cancellation. This benefit covers only those Travel Arrangements purchased from Pleasant Holidays.

Pleasant Holidays travel certificates are issued in the names of the passengers in the original reservations and are non-refundable, non-transferrable, valid for one year from date of issue (but no later than 15 months from the date your Pleasant Holidays Travel Arrangements were cancelled) and may not be redeemed for cash.

Blue Ribbon Bags (BRB) provides a Delayed Baggage Protection service that is offered as a value-added service to enhance the customer experience when traveling. Blue Ribbon Bags will track and expedite the return of delayed airline baggage from when the destination flight lands.

Portable Personal Health Record Provided By FootprintID® - FootprintID® provides a secure solution for individuals to take control of their medical records and enables immediate access wherever they are in the world.

Vacation package coverage rate tier determined by total package price divided by number of adults (18 years and older) on booking. Children ages 2 – 17 rates are 50% savings off adult rate.
