December - March tends to bring more mild/dry and pleasant temperatures however, this is also the time when summer vacations and crowds are at their peak. April – May brings less tourism but the temperatures can get up to 100 degrees daily, while June – November is consistently rainy. Vibrant and popular festivals occur throughout the year in Merida so plan accordingly there as well.
